Caring for Your Soleil Towels

Your Soleil Fine Goods towels are crafted from premium, eco-conscious materials to provide lasting luxury and superior softness. With the right care, you can preserve their plush feel, absorbency, and vibrant color for years to come.

• Wash Before First Use: We recommend washing your new towels before their first use. This helps to activate the fibers, increasing their absorbency and removing any residual lint from the crafting process.
• Machine Wash: Use a gentle cycle with warm water and a mild, liquid detergent. To protect the delicate fibers, avoid overloading the washing machine.
• Wash with Like Colors: Always separate your whites, lights, and darks to prevent any color bleeding and keep your towels looking their best.
• Avoid Fabric Softeners & Bleach:
  Fabric softeners coat the towel fibers, which can reduce their absorbency over time. For a natural softening effect, you can add a quarter-cup of distilled white vinegar to the rinse cycle occasionally. This will help remove detergent residue and restore softness.
  Do not use chlorine bleach, as it can weaken the fibers and cause discoloration. For stubborn stains on white towels, consider an oxygen-based bleach alternative.

• Tumble Dry Low: Tumble dry your towels on a low or medium heat setting. High heat can damage the premium fibers, making them feel stiff.
• Shake Before Drying: Before placing your towels in the dryer, give them a good shake. This helps to fluff up the loops, which enhances softness and aids in absorbency.
• Use Wool Dryer Balls: For a natural, eco-friendly alternative to dryer sheets, try using wool dryer balls. They help reduce drying time, prevent static, and keep your towels exceptionally soft.
• Do Not Over-Dry: Remove towels from the dryer when they are about 95% dry to prevent the fibers from becoming brittle.

• Snagged Loops: Due to their woven nature, it's possible to snag a loop. If this happens, do not pull it. Simply use a pair of scissors to snip the pulled loop level with the rest of the pile. This will not cause your towel to unravel.
• Proper Storage: Store your clean, dry towels in a well-ventilated and dry area, such as a linen closet. Avoid storing them in damp bathrooms for extended periods to prevent mildew.
